Popular celebrity barman, Cubana Chief Priest has ended his partnership with his boss and chairman of Cubana Group, Obi Cubana. Instagram page to reveal that he has started his own night club in Imo state, where Cubana group also runs a night club. Nigerian lady set to wed in October, crushed to death by truck in Lagos

A Nigerian lady, identified as Immaculate Okochu who was set to be married in October, after she had her introduction in March has been crushed to death by a truck in Lagos. The quite tragic incident happened on Wednesday, moments after posting a selfie on her Facebook page. The young Lady before her demise was the assistant restaurant manager at Cold Stone Creamery Nigeria. Friends have since taken to her Facebook page to pay condolence. The deceased was described as a rare gem who was more than a friend to a lot of people.

SANWO -OLU ASKS TO MEET BOY IN ‘CALM DOWN ’ VIRAL VIDEO

Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has expressed willingness to meet the unidentified boy in a viral video, asking his mother to ‘calm down’ as she attempts to beat him over an offence. In the video, the boy is seen appealing to his mother to “calm down and rest a little,” evoking laughter from social media users. He also tells his mother to pardon him, saying “this is my last chance,” a phrase that provokes further laug hter. In his Sallah message to Lagosians, the Governor on his official twitter handle @jidesanwoolu said he was inspired by the video “because of the deeper meaning it conveys,” urging residents to “calm down.” He said: “I saw a video of a charming young boy online asking his mom to ‘calm down’ as she was set to punish him for a misdemeanour.

Two persons have been confirmed dead in a gas explosion that rocked Afariogun Street in the Ajao area of Lagos State this evening Tuesday, July 28. The explosion started from a shop used in refilling gas cylinders. Nine shops were razed in the explosion and a number of cars were also burnt. According to reports, the accident happened after a 62-year-old woman, who runs a cooking gas shop and her 32-year-old daughter were called back to their shop to attend to a “regular customer” who came to fill a gas cylinder. The woman returned and successfully attended to the customer. However, the sad incident happened when the customer tried putting the gas cylinder into a waiting tricycle, it fell and exploded. The Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, who confirmed the incident, said the fire had been extinguished and that the bodies of the deceased persons have been evacuated from the scene of the incident.

WOODBERRY PLEADS NOT GUILTY TO FRAUD CHARGES

Suspected Nigerian fraudster, Olalekan Ponle a.k.a Mr Woodberry has pleaded not guilty to the fraud charges levelled against him after being arraigned before Magistrate Judge Jeffrey Cummings of the United States District Court in Illinois . Recall LIB reported earlier that though the fraud charges agiainsr Mr Ponle has been dismissed, the grand jury's indictment which summed his offences into eight counts charge is still active.

A Video making the rounds on social media shows the shocking moment a man threatened to rape a lady in public. The man was angrily demanding for his ‘wire’ from the ‘Power officials’ (Nepa) who disconnected his electricity and when they did not succumb, he threatened to rape the woman who was holding the wire. The man began taking off his shorts and the lady was forced to let go of the wire.
